Fujitsu P1610 Tablet PC

I saw Fujitsu’s P1510 Tablet PC yesterday on a comp store and it looked soooo gorgeous. And it seems the convertible notebook, which is dubbed as “mini laptop”, is already have a successor, the P1610. And like its big brother, don’t underestimate its 8.9-inch width. See, on the inside, the classy black laptop is packed an Intel Core Solo U1400 (1.2GHz) processor, 512MB of uDIMM RAM (expandable to 1 gigs), and an 1.8-inches 80GB of HDD. Since it’s a mobile device, you can expect a variety of connectivity supports, including WiFI, Bluetooth, LAN, WLAN, UMTS (3G), and fax/modem. Definitely not bad a two thousand bucks notebook, huh?

Other features found on Fujitsu P1610 (a.k.a Chalice) tablet PC include a fingerprint sensor, SD card reader, USB 2.0, PC card slot, all three flavors of WiFi, and a 3-cell battery good for 4.5 hours of use. Sadly, the machine is only available for lucky Korean right now. Hope it will hit the local store here soon as I’d be glad to add this convertible onto my New Year’s shopping list.
